A New Scrapbook Project

I took a picture of Angel and my Mom last Christmas as shown below and I couldn’t help but flinch when she jokingly said I never gave her copies of their pictures together.  Uhmmmm.. Guilty!

So I’ve decided to try and start putting a scrapbook of Grandma and grandson together to give to her as a birthday gift this coming March.  (Should be manageable if I start now.)  I will probably copy whatever it is I’m putting together for myself but add some special elements for the one for Mom.  Now if I can only make up my mind about the size.

Colors and embellishments will be easy considering blue stuff is everywhere!  Can’t wait to post my first few layouts here..

Gathering items for my baby scrapbook

I’ve been very busy with my Paris scrapbook and I’ve been meaning to put things in there little by little.  In the meantime, I’ve also been trying to get ideas for the scrapbook with Angel.  I hope to finally start that next year.  Then there’s the scrapbook for our trip home.. can’t wait.  I might even end up making a business of this!

Finally working on my scrapbook

Over the weekend, I found myself looking over scrapbooks to put my Paris adventures on and I pulled back before I picked anything in particular when I thought to myself, it might be good to put the scrapbook together first and then get the appropriate album later.  I also resolved to finally work on my scrapbook about Angel, given that I have probably close to over a thousand pictures now, and he is growing so fast.

I want to be able to capture his milestones as best I can — before he’s all grown up.
